Buddy Bass Tournament

Teamsters Joint Council 13 Annual Dan McKay Memorial Bass Tournament went off without a hitch and everyone who attended had a great time. Lots of bags of fish were brought in by the fisherman. Eight places were paid, and there were two winners for Big Bass.

After the tournament catering was done by the Branding Iron, and everyone raved about the great food. Every fisherman received a great attendance prize at the award ceremony. Thanks to all our sponsors who help make this event a success for a great cause, also thanks to all our participants who reached into their pockets for our raffle to raise additional monies for Snowflake Village of St. Louis Children's Hospital.

“It takes months of planning and organizing an event of this size and I must say that we have some of the best officers, staff, and members in Joint Council 13 that make sure everything is taken care of before, after, and during the tournament” stated Joint Council 13 President, Marvin Kropp. This is basically a two-day event starting on Friday afternoon the day before the tournament with registration then the tournament on Saturday and then capping off the evening when the awards and dinner are presented. So once again thanks to all who helped.”

Donations for Snowflake Village are not yet totaled, but will be in the next Missouri Teamster issue.  Next year’s tournament is already set for Saturday, October 20, 2018, at Lakeview Resort in Lake of the Ozarks. Be sure to make reservations early.
